The Scout group has been invovled with the Trinity church transition as it was known in the early 80s to present day.The inspiration of many did not wish the Holy Trinity church to be abandoned,although not old, it commanded a land mark across the Blackmore Vale and beyond to the present day. St Peters was to to become the parish church. At that time Shaftesbury scouts were looking for a headquarters as the lease on the old scout hut had expired. The scout group raised the finances and with other sponsers this has been the Shaftesbury Scout HQ ever since. With support from the Shaftesbury Trinty Centre Trust,the scouts are fortunate to keep the original scout hall. The group is thriving with both boys and girls in all sections,experiencing adventurous challenges,team and badge work.

Ages 14+ years.
