Care Dorset launched in October 2022. It is wholly owned by Dorset Council but is an independent company. Care Dorset is an adult care service provider offering Residential services, Day services, Reablement and Supported living. Shaftesbury Plus, one of the Day services is located within the building run by the Trinity Trust. Support is offered to people from the age of 18 with an assessed need with a specialism of dementia care. Shaftesbury Plus puts the people they support at the heart of everything they do to ensure care needs are met, to reduce loneliness and isolation, to help them develop and maintain friendships, and to enjoy activities of their choice.
